Bruichladdich’s Micro Provenance series celebrates the individuality of single cask bottlings with complete transparency: every detail of the cask’s journey from distillation to bottling is recorded and shared. Cask 4164 previously held bourbon before being filled with Bruichladdich’s unpeated Islay single malt, and after 11 years the whisky has emerged full of coastal freshness, orchard fruit and creamy oak notes.
