A 45-year-old single grain whisky from Cameronbridge, bottled in celebration of Douglas Laing’s 75th anniversary. The bottle is presented in a luxury, diamond-shaped gift box, which also contains a booklet hand-signed by Fred and Cara Laing, as well as a cut crystal decanter and tumbler crafted by glass artisan Richard Brendon.
Tasting notes from Douglas Laing
The nose opens like its colour: full of dark demerara sugar, corn, molasses and spices. The palate delivers an unctuous mouthfeel of drizzled lemon juice amongst barley sugar and honey. The vanilla arrives on the finish with some Bourbon, maple syrup and late drifting smoke (FHL)
