Rock Island 14 Year Old – Sherry Cask

Douglas Laing has released a special edition of Rock Island blended malt, a blend of whiskies from the west coast of Scotland, including Islay, Arran, Jura, and Orkney. The resulting whisky has a briny character with a subtle smokiness. This limited release has been aged for 14 years in ex-sherry casks, which adds depth and complexity to the whisky, and imparts notes of sweet raisins and plums.
