Ballechin 13 Year Old – Batch 1 – Cask Strength Edition

This Ballechin is a 13-year-old single malt whisky from the Edradour distillery in the Highlands. It has a rich and strong smoky flavor due to the heavy peat used during the distillation process. The whisky was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, giving it additional complexity. Bottled at its natural cask strength, it offers aromas of bonfire oak, gooseberries, plums, and heather honey. The smoky taste dominates the palate, accompanied by notes of orange zest, bitter chocolate, dried fruits, and wood spice.
