Bunnahabhain 1965 – 35 Year Old – Sherry Cask

The rarest of malts, this 35 year old Islay single malt harks from esteemed distillery Bunnahabhain. Distilled in 1965 the whisky spent its full maturation, over three decades, in a single sherry butt. The cask was eventually outturned in 2002, yielding a highly limited 594 bottles. A celebratory release by Bunnahabhain in honour of Islay’s Feis Ile Festival. Notes of dark chocolate and leather.
