Caol Ila 2012 – 13 Year Old – Decadent Drams

A super limited bottling from much revered Islay distillery Caol Ila, this 13 year old release is a unique single malt. The product of the harmonious marriage of a refill sherry hogshead, filled in 2009, and a first fill sherry hogshead, filled in 2010. A tiny release of just 183 bottles by independent bottler Decadent Drinks under their Whisky Sponge label. Notes of dried prunes and salted caramel.
