Craigellachie 16 Year Old – Palo Cortado

An impressive 16 year old single malt from renowned Speyside distillery Craigellachie, known for its robust and balanced style. Distilled in 2008, the whisky enjoyed a generous maturation before being revitalised by a year long finish in a palo cortado sherry cask. A tiny 91 bottles were eventually yielded for this super limited release by independent bottler Murray McDavid. Notes of caramel and hazelnut.
