Hatozaki Triple Cask Reserve

From the Kaikyo Distillery in Akashi, Japan, Hatozaki Triple Cask Reserve is a blended malt that draws on three distinct cask types for a spirit of layered complexity and refined balance. The triple maturation, combining ex-bourbon, Umeshu plum wine and sherry barrels, results in a whisky with endless layers of flavours. Expect black tea, orange peel, vanilla, dried apricot, black tea, sweet ume plums, hazelnut pastry and toasted barley. It’s a sweet and soft whisky that’s excellent value for money.
