Holyrood Embra

The second edition of Holyrood single malt, crafted in the heart of Edinburgh (affectionately known as Embra), marks the distillery’s inaugural venture into peated whisky. This release has been aged in a diverse array of barrels, predominantly first fill Bourbon, with a portion from Islay’s peated quarter casks and a touch of new American oak.

Its label draws inspiration from a linocut, depicting St Leonard, the patron saint of coopers, which also nods to the distillery’s locale. The design subtly incorporates smoke trails emanating from a hand, symbolizing the act of offering or unveiling.
