White Peak 2 Year Old – Batch 1 – That Boutique-Y Malt Company

White Peak is a Derbyshire-based distillery sited in a World-Heritage-recognised valley. It’s a relatively new start-up, which has already begun to put the Peak District on the whisky-making map. This two-year-old whisky released as part of the Home Nations series! This is a malt spirit, matured for two years (so not quite old enough to be called whisky just yet) in an STR red wine cask. Despite its relatively short stay in the cask, this one has taken on a veritable wealth of flavour!
