Exceptionally old and rare, this 20 year old single malt harks from the now-closed Caperdonich Distillery, Speyside. Distilled in 1996, the spirit matured for 17 years in a bourbon hogshead before benefiting from an invigorating finish in a sherry hogshead for 3 years. This limited release is part of independent bottler Cadenhead’s Closed Distilleries Series. Notes of peach and toffee.
