GlenAllachie 10 Year Old – Spanish Virgin Oak

The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Spanish Virgin Oak is part of Batch 3 of the Virgin Oak Series. A medium level toast and char on the Spanish Oak hogsheads allow the complex spirit to extract its cask character. With rich notes of dried fruits, maraschino cherries, and stem ginger, this whisky is bottled at 48% and has a mahogany hue. The palate is filled with baking spices, orchard fruits, and sticky toffee pudding, with hints of citrus, brown sugar, and glazed cherries. The finish brings flavors of chocolate, coffee, pepper, ginger, heather honey, and banana with sultanas. This whisky is natural in color and non-chill filtered.
