Glenallachie 11 Year Old – Marsala Wood Finish

Brimming with notes of vanilla, honey, stewed fruits and walnut, this GlenAllachie 11 Year Old been matured for eight years in ex-bourbon casks before spending a further 42 months in casks that previously held sweet Marsala wine.

Nose: Bursting with heather honey, vanilla and stewed fruit, with notes of liquorice, butterscotch and roasted nuts.

Taste: Lashings of apricot, toffee and honeycomb, followed by hints of caramelised brown sugar, walnut and crème brûlée.
