Glenallachie 2008 – 16 Year Old – Inverdarach

Here, a much loved Speyside single malt from Glenallachie has been aged 16 years, and transformed by its finish. The sherried spirit harking from Chivas Regal, spent the final 10 months of its maturation in ex-Caol Ila casks, adding a hint of peat to the mellow spirit. Part of the Inverdarach range by up and coming distillery Ardgowan. Notes of sea salt chocolate and dried fruit.
